I have been running times for a while now (over ten years) but the other day when I was riding I was able to finally get them clogged with a mud/snow combo, there reason they jammed up (which required me to quite riding for far too long) was the center section packing with ice. The crankbrothers don't have that section, which to me means there won't be that opportunity. I talked to some people and they said that there is a click with the new ones, which is what I have liked about the times for so long.
