Here is a solution that I had thought about for a long time (too bad I don't have a machine shop), I love the way SRAM shifters feel, but Shimano brakes have passed their SRAM counterpart up at this moment in time. I love uncluttered handlebar setups and that is sixty percent of the reason I chose the setup that I did on my stumpjumper. My bike has been seeing a lot of use lately so look for a review on all the parts used as well as the frame.
