I love my Krampus, and 29+ really is the new black or something like that. The reality is that the larger tires get rolling and keep rolling for what feels like forever. Apparently Surly picked up on this and release their ECR the following year. I had the pleasure of riding this thing for a moment. The difference in the geometry between this and the Krampus is very noticeable. If you ever think "hey whats my next do it all touring bike" this is the one kids.
